SET 2009 Conference Hotel

Quellenhof Hotel:The Conference Hotel is the Quellenhof Hotel, Aachen and participants are encouraged to secure accommodation in this excellent hotel which is attached to the Eurogress Conference Centre. If you wish to book a room in this hotel, please make your reservation directly with the hotel Reservations Manager at the contact details below.

 

All other hotels: All participants must make their own hotel reservations through the aachen tourist service, who will provide all information and rates for all classes of accommodation in and around Aachen.

The SET Secretariat cannot be held responsible for the hotel and accommodation arrangements or payment. A full list of hotels can be provided by the Aachen Tourist Service on request.

 

The Quellenhof Hotel

The Quellenhof Hotel is a magnificent 5 Star hotel and will be the conference hotel for SET 2009. The hotel has a number of restaurants and bars offering a wide variety of international cuisine. The 185 rooms have unique features such as Jim Thomson armchair covers and Thai-silk curtains. Beds enjoy interior-spring mattresses from Sleepeezee, suppliers to the British Royal Family. 6 room categories, 24/h room service, and Internet access. Rooms are limited to 185 and a special room rate (without breakfast) has been negotiated for SET participants. All rooms have air conditioning, wireless internet connection, satellite TC and more.

Spa and Relaxation

Our beauty and well-being facilities give you a chance to take some time off in style. Recharge your batteries in our pool, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, solarium, health bar and Asian-style relaxation area or treat yourself to a massage. Facilities include

Single Room:  €135

Double: €150

These conference rates do not need to be paid in advance and will be refunded in case of cancellation or no-show.

Special internet rate of €110

 

Important new information: We understand that some participants have booked the Quellenhof Hotel directly (not through the SET reference) and recieved a cheaper rate of €110 for a single room. This cheaper rate is still available until 5 days before  the conference, however, full payment for the room must be made in advance. There is no refund in case of cancellation or no-show. All participants are welcome to choose the option that suits them.
