8th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies

A huge success was reached by SET2009 in Aachen, organized by the University of Duisburg-Essen, and the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies. Both the number and quality of the contributions exceeded everyone's expectations, and motivated a rich exchange of ideas among the scholars, government officials and entrepreneurs who attended
The SET organisers would like to thank all participants for their valuable contribution to SET 2009 and would like to encourage you to join SET in 2010. The location and timing will be announced shortly.
A special thanks also goes to our session chairmen who worked with such professionalism and enthusiasm at this event.
We would also like to thank our conference staff without whom this event would not have been such a success.
The speech of Dr Jens Baganz has been uploaded to this site for open publication. We will also upload speeches from Plenary Speakers.
